Malik Riaz – Attacked by Insects
Usually in summers, different sort of organisms start taking over mother earth and meddling into our lives. You just put a piece of bread on the floor, and within minutes ants will be surrounding the piece of food, combining their strengths to carry it away.
The same is happening in Pakistan. Malik Riaz could be the summer in politics of Pakistan, and his critics being the ants – claiming that Mr. Riaz is a corrupt person and has been from 1996. First the man was known for giving luxuries to our people and now the same man is being hailed as corrupt. I don’t understand the change of heart.
I am not saying that he is good man or that I support him. He is equally involved in destablizing the system. He had relations with every big authority, and that too related to bribery and the likes. He is corrupt like most other politicians, judges, generals, journalists etc. that Pakistan has the luck to have.
What bothers me the most is that these short comings are becoming most evident after so many years. It took us this long to figure out if some particular person is working for our betterment or not. This, unfortunately is the hypocrisy of our society.
We people are fickle. Enough said.
